What video formats are compatible with Star Office 8? I want to add them in my presentation. I played one MOV file, but I couldn't get any other file to work, not even other MOV files.

Unfortunately, Star Office doesn't support any video format. From what it seems, you opened another file type instead of the MOV file. The application has been developed by Sun Microsystems to work only with .sdw, .sxw, .odt, .ott, .sdc, .sxc, .ods, .ots, .sdd, .sxi, .odp, .otp, .sda, .sxd, .odg, .otg, .sdb, .odb, .smf, .sxm, and .odf files.
